First Service Residential hired us to develop several conceptual designs as part of their project to replace a 30 year old deteriorating exterior metal louver system. All sides of this garage face Rice Park in downtown St. Paul. In response to the City’s master planning effort, we saw this project as a unique opportunity to create a connection between the functional structure, the community and nature. We worked directly with the Park Department and City for an approval to present the client with a large custom graphic etched in woven metal as a possible solution.
